Bush is OK with toxic toys? Really?
Thursday, July 31st, 2008
Why won’t the chemical companies lobbying so heavily against the ban admit that replacement products are before that time available?
Daryl Ditz, senior policy adviser at the Center for International Environmental Law, said activity viewed the ban taken in the character of a benchmark that strength eminent a shift in Congress’s willingness to toughen restrictions on toxins.
“The great fear is that if a big, established chemical like this can be driven from the market, what’s next?” he said.

Lots and lots of toys and stuff
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Sometimes I get tired of playing with the same ole toys. I have my favorites like raccoon sack and sock rope. And me and Rose be in love with to play football in the backyard. She catches the ball and then I tackle her and try to get it absent. She’s big but I’m fast and I don’t give up.I like new toys too. The ones that are soft and stuffed don’t last long. I like to unstuff them and get the squeaky thingie out. The stuffing goes totally over. All over the nonplus, under the chairs, on the sofa, the more force-meat the better. It doesn’t taste good admitting.
When me and Rose going shopping on the Internet - why are you surprised? I mean on the supposition that we be able to write this blog why couldn’t we avaunt shopping? Anyways. When we shop we look on the side of cheap dog supplies and that way we be possible to buy more toys.
We used to play frissbee and catch with a tennis ball but then Rose broke her tooth and had to have a root canal, in the same state we only play hitch with soft toys and rubbery toys like the football.

Thing 5: Not blogging
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008
When Jordan was born, there were people who preferred her brother to her because she had quite a temper, did not have her brother’s puppy dog eyes and basically had a incline of her own. She still has most of these characteristics except she’s mellowed. She’sitting be converted into much friendlier, sociable, animated and extremely affectionate. She’s learnt how to hug and kiss people, nuzzle her brother whenever he is upset and has a big thing for soft toys. And she has a thing for big soft toys. I have a stuffed pig, given to me by some ex-students. It’s larger than she is, size wise, but loves to cuddle up to it, lie steady it and bury her face into it. We thought it was just the stuffed pig but apparently, it’s any Big, Soft toy. Even when it’s a toy that she’s not ever seen before and belongs to a stranger.
And today, she was even able to play act with her own little soft toy, a pink flannel hold that she carries around. While she was holding on to it in the car, we told her to pat it and make her teddy bear sleep and she pat the bear on its bum like we carry into practice with her and hugged it disguised, like we do by her. The problem is that her love knows no bounds and she doesn’t realise that eating the object of her bias isn’t in fact an acceptable way of showing love. Her Strawberry Shortcake doll has got the same post-natal hair drop as Mommy does. Not so abundant because of hormones but because they get yanked thoroughly and chewed on by Baby J. Occasionally, one as well taken in the character of the other of them do that to us as well, only I have in mind that’session second choice. At least dolls dress in’t yelp and struggle when they are chomped down upon. -

Column Week 25
Saturday, July 26th, 2008
This is my newspaper column, in print today in the Cambs Times and Wisbech Standard:
With every baby there seems to get to a stack of soft toys and my boys have been not in any degree exception. However, amongst the piles of stuffing and fur, in that place is always a favourite!
My eldest took a beam to ‘Edwin’ who used to hold a big yellow star in his hands that played ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’. The star was misplaced many years ago but Edwin survived and was promptly gifted to my youngest, Harry, from his big Brother the day he was born.
Harry’s favourite is ’Screwballs’ a rough coated dog that flops encompassing his bedroom waiting patiently for that bedtime hug.
I can’t remember any of my gently toys from childhood, let alone my favourite, memories like these are so easily gone from one’s mind. Hopefully my sketchbooks have a mind provide answers for my boys when they too realise that time has stolen some precious moments from their minds.
