Tweed thoughts …: Craft Blog Inspiration!

I make soft balls in different sizes out of Harris Tweed and it suddenly struck me, why don’t I try making Christmas baubles in the similar way. I like the idea of working on a self-same small scale, so these may be sport to do and maybe embellish them with little images in felt. All handsewn, of course, which would be my favourite way of tackling them. I esteem no idea yet how this would turn out, I just thought I’d apportioned lot my twinkling of inspiration with you!!

So many ideas …..

Here’s my Harris Tweed ‘juggling balls’ which has given me the idea of going a lot smaller and trying to make a bauble, in the same way. This may never come to enjoyment but I’ll find it rough to resist, at that time that the idea is in my head!!
